Fire Pump Inspection, Testing and Maintenance Training (ITM)
During two days of comprehensive training, attendees will gain an understanding of the requirements and procedures for inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire pumps and controllers in accordance with NFPA 20 and 25. The attendees will participate in valuable hands-on training on pump and controller types including:

Course Objectives
- Summarize inspection, testing and maintenance responsibilities for fire pumps in accordance to NFPA 25
- Identify and explain pump types, components, and tools as they relate to applicable NFPA standards
- Recognize the electrical, mechanical and environmental safety hazards associated with fire pumps as well as the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) that may be required
- Identify most common pump problems and troubleshooting techniques
- Demonstrate proper fire pump inspection, testing and maintenance procedures
